Bugaboo Fox Review

Bugaboo Fox Review

The fox is one of the most intelligent animals. It’s also incredibly light on its feet and can go almost anywhere. It’s perfectly at home in deserts, grasslands, snow and rocky terrain. The Bugaboo Fox embodies all these qualities of the cunning beast while also being supremely comfortable and maneuverable. It simply out-FOXes the competition!

The most remarkable aspect of the Bugaboo Fox is its central joint which, coupled with the all-terrain wheels and advanced suspension, ensures a phenomenal ride quality.

Let’s delve deeper into the features of this fabulous four wheeled stroller...

Bugaboo Fox Features:

Usable From Day 1: The Bugaboo Fox includes a toddler stroller and a Bugaboo bassinet in a matching color. The bassinet latches securely onto the frame within seconds and facilitates strolling with a newborn without the need for any sort of improvisation.

All fabrics are made out of recycled materials and showcase Bugaboo’s commitment to the planet’s well being. They are super-soft and feel good for the baby. Bugaboo claims that up to 92 recycled plastic bottles are used to make the premium fabrics on the Fox. Indeed, the stroller is certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

The bassinet is configured in a parent facing position. This helps the baby to feel secure and also enables the caregiver to keep a close watch on their bundle of joy.

The stroller seat is approved for a toddler weighing up to 48.5 pounds.

Converts Into A Travel System: Explore the world with your tiny tot!

The Bugaboo Fox accepts the Bugaboo Turtle Infant car seat without the need for adapters. It also accepts infant car seats of other major brands such as Maxi Cosi, Peg Perego, Britax, Chicco, Nuna, Cybex and Clek. Please ensure that you pick right kind of adapters depending upon the make and model of your infant car seat.

(The Turtle car seat is not included with the stroller. It’s available for purchase separately.)

Fast Company Innovation By Design Awards Finalist: We’ve been going on and on about how fantastic and well designed the Fox is. If you think that we’re over-exaggerating, do note that the Foxi s a Fast Company Innovation By Design Finalist. It was one of 397 honorees that were chosen out of more than 2800 submissions. It stood among some of the world’s topmost brands such as Google, Amazon, Nike and so on.

Reversible Seat: The Fox’s seat features plenty of soft padding and allows your child to face you or to face the world depending upon their mood and preference. The seat reclines to 3 positions in both front and parent facing configurations.

Many strollers have the seat kind of low. The Fox’s toddler seat is perched high and provides kids with a very good view, should they wish to look around. It also creates more room for storage underneath the seat.

The stroller comes with a rain cover to protect the occupant during inclement weather. The UPF 50+ overhead Sun canopy protects the baby from the elements. It’s conveniently removable and machine washable.

Power Steering: Imagine a car with and without power steering. It’s highly improbable that you’ve driven a vehicle without power steering. But if you have, you’d definitely know the difference.

That’s exactly how the Bugaboo Fox feels versus a normal stroller. It’s been engineered to perfection and has a sophisticated suspension.

The wheels barely make a sound when rolling. The front wheels have a swivel-locking function that enables parents to take tight turns and squeeze out gaps at busy supermarkets.

The handle has a leather-like grip – it sets the stroller apart and makes it feel expensive. The bar is height adjustable to allow people of varying heights to use the stroller without experiencing any kind of discomfort.

Go Anywhere Attitude: The all terrain wheels can go almost anywhere without flinching. We reckon that the fox will spend the majority of its time on smooth surfaces but if you’re planning a picnic near the lakeside or a trip to the beach, you can go ahead with confidence. It’s not called the Fox for nothing.

The wheels are super durable and have been designed to take on any terrain. Usually, strollers that boast of all-terrain ability have those spoked bicycle wheels. They’re quite good but you need to monitor the air pressure. The ones of the Fox are not pneumatic tires and you’ll never have to worry about a flat tire ever again!

Also, if you’re really into fitness and want a jogging stroller, we suggest you to take a look at the Bugaboo Runner.

Luxurious Ride: The ride on the Fox is always smooth. The suspension does a marvellous job of filtering out bumps and irregularities, ensuring that your little one can nap unperturbed.

The storage basket is located right beneath the toddler seat. It has high edges to prevent sagging and can carry up to a respectable 22 pounds.

Easy To Fold: The stroller folds easily and can stand up when folded. This gives you space and time to attend to your little one, fill up the groceries in the car boot...you get the idea.

Even though the Fox is a full-size stroller, it has a fairly compact fold. Also, it weighs just 19.6 lbs with the seat and wheels attached. Most adults can lift it with just one hand.

Safety First: There’s a padded 5-point harness to ensure that the occupant stays firmly cradled within the seat in case of any untoward incident. Moreover, the Bugaboo Fox has undergone 1500 safety tests. It sets the benchmark that other brands aspire to uphold.

  • Full-fledged stroller weighs only 19.6 lbs
  • Birth to 48.5 pounds. Bassinet included
  • Center joint and suspension work in perfect harmony to simulate a magically smooth ride
  • Height-adjustable handlebar
  • Front or rear facing toddler seat
  • Available in a range of alluring color combinations such as red/black, black/white etc.

Has no apparent flaws. However, this is not an affordable stroller by any stretch of the imagination.

Dear Bugaboo, would it be too much to ask for a parent tray with cup holder for the price? We think not! 🤔

Final Verdict:

If budget is not an issue, just go for it. We’re pretty sure that both you and your kid will thoroughly enjoy the Bugaboo Fox. It looks sharp and will serve as a trusted companion for years to come!
